• Reset the base station. Sometimes all it takes is a quick reboot to get it working again.

• Check the wiring. If the base station reset doesn’t work, check the wiring for loose connections and exposed or frayed lead-in wires.

• Adjust the magnetic field. If your vehicle detector is frequently missing vehicles, the magnetic field could be out of alignment. In most cases, recalibrating the depth setting should resolve the problem.
